- Using the Service means acceptance of these Regulations.
§2. Definitions
- User – a natural or legal person using the Service.
- Account – an individual User profile created within the Service.
- Content – any materials available within the Service.
- Service – an electronic service provided by the Administrator.
§3. Scope of Services
The Service provides in particular:
- solving chess puzzles
- participation in events organized by the Service owner
- analysis of chess games
- access to training materials
- uploading profile photos and multimedia content
The Service may offer free and paid features.
§4. Terms of Use
- The User must use the Service in accordance with the law.
- Actions disrupting the Service are prohibited.
- Illegal or offensive content is prohibited.
- Each User may use only one Account.
- Commercial use requires Administrator consent.
- The Administrator may block an Account in case of violation.
§5. Copyright and Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights belong to the Administrator.
- Copying and distribution without consent is prohibited.
- Users grant a non-exclusive license for uploaded materials.
- The Administrator may remove infringing content.
§6. Privacy and Personal Data Protection
- The Administrator processes personal data in accordance with GDPR.
- Data processing is based on Article 6 GDPR.
- Photos may constitute personal data.
- Users have the right to delete their data.
- Data transfers outside the EEA are secured.
- Users may exercise their GDPR rights.
§7. Security
- The Administrator applies appropriate security measures.
- Users are responsible for protecting login credentials.
§8. Liability
- The Administrator is not liable for interruptions beyond control.
- The Administrator is not responsible for User actions.
- Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
§9. Account Deletion
- Users may delete their Account at any time.
- The Administrator may block Accounts in case of violations.
§10. Complaints
- Complaints may be submitted electronically.
- Complaints are processed within 14 business days.
§11. EU Law Compliance
- The Service operates in compliance with EU law, including GDPR and the Digital Services Act.
- The Administrator fulfills EU transparency and protection obligations.
§12. Amendments
- The Administrator may amend the Regulations.
- Continued use means acceptance of changes.
§13. Final Provisions
- Polish law and EU law apply.
- Disputes are resolved by the court competent for the Administrator.
- These Regulations enter into force upon publication.
